- Non-diegetic sound of the song plays but breaks apart and differs throughout the video - not consistent.
- Diegetic sounds have been used, such as the sound of a train and a hose, which represents the setting and the things that are happening in the scene.
- As the man knocks on the door, three knocking sounds are used, but they're part of the song instead of sound effects added which is unusual for a song.

Editing:
- As the dancer slides into water, the song becomes mumbled, which is the effect you have when you're underwater - your hearing is limited. This makes you feel like you're the dancer himself.
- The music also gets blurred out when a young boy puts headphones on, as if he's taken away the full sound of it.
