A family that is continuously been trusted by the public should know the ropes and ways in politics better than someone who just started out in politics it also shows that their people have an immense trust place in the family. Yes in the way that corruption can easily happen due to the power a family has. Since a family has been in power for a while, it can give them the impression that they're "untouchable" and can do whatever they want, which should never be the case.
