Next, the transition to age 30 (ages 28-33) occurs.  At this stage, the person establishes his role in society, builds nests, and pursues more long-term plans and goals.  His question may be evaluating early career choices and goals.  Drop floors immediately after the transition of age 30 (age 33-40).  The issue here is to develop a sense of success in the main areas of one's life, primarily one's career and relationships.  



 



The mid transition (40s) begins next.  The problem here is evaluating one's life goals and commitments, knowing that only a limited amount of time is available to reach them.  That sense of time running out can lead to what is often called a mid-term crisis.  



 



Finally, they enter adulthood (the middle 40s).  The issues here are learning to live with previous decisions, for example by becoming increasingly committed to one's family or career.
