university resources list, I was able to find helpful materials for drawing inspiration such as Bistro Invitro.
The cookbook Bistro invitro (2015) is a fictional restaurant and thought experiment in response to ecological issues, that was developed in the form of a futuristic cookbook and recipes around lab-created food.
The detailed yet straightforward linework and style of illustration in this cookbook acted as good guidance for future experimentation on how I could record food and think creatively about manipulating food images and how it looks through edited features such as colour.
