I have a hard time focusing on a screen instead of actual paper. I think that it would be up to the teacher to decide. In my class we have a lot of students that have a hard time reading because dyslexia. So a kindle may be harder for them to read as well.

There are positives and negatives of both. No matter our personal preferences as teachers, we need to let students need to let them read how they want.

For me, regular books are way easier to follow but I don't think this is the case for everyone.
