         <description><![CDATA[<div>Data about state of mental health among students (YRBS, Falcon, SAMHSA data sets?, Market scan health conditions, NSCH)<br><br>Stories from the field - how PE/PA, nutrition practices, etc. impact a child's willingness to participate/engage (can ask SEAs, Active Schools PE campaign, GENYOUth, Healthier Generation)<br><br>New partners at the table? for example, start with mtgs w/DASH to learn from them and identify ways to coordinate; SAMHSA; NICPC; Natl Endowment for the Arts; Natl Ctr for School Based MH; Ctr for Health and HC in Schools<br><br>Invite SAMHSA staff to present to branch and discuss their role vs. our role in promoting mental health for students and staff.<br><br>Better understanding of what resources SAMHSA already has related to our priority areas (for example, I recently learned that they have a self-paced training on nutrition and mental health and a great handout about healthy eating to support mental health)<br><br>Data over stigma related to mental health in youth and how to communicate importance of seeking help - may have changed since COVID? More students seeking help, more people talking about mental health, etc. (Reach out to CHEO, other partners identified above) <br><br>Data over special needs students and mental health during COVID- best practices to support, policies<br><br></div>]]></description>
