Wild Bill was a old police chief eventually getting fired for shooting his friend. This was one of his many people he killed. He was born in May 27, 1837 and died on Augest 2, 1876 he died from the desiease known as glaucoma and ophthalmia which affected his vision. He was famous for his very talented gunfighting skills and his death during a poker game. He killed a little over a hundred people and his last words were "the old duffeer he broke my hand." Bill Hickok was a fan of the baseball team called Kansas city Antelopes. He was known for his deadly instinct of gunfighting being a previous solider for the Americans army ,and helped protect the transcontinental railroad. He got his nickname from his gambling skills and his gunfighting skills in the post war era. Jack McCall shot Wild Bill Hickok But Bill. Camality Jane was buried next to Bill Hickok and this was because he didn't want anything to do with her when he was still breathing so his friends decided to pull a little prank on their dead friend. His last hand before his death occured his last hand in gambling was a pair of aces a pair of eights and his fifth was a jack of spade in 1997 this hand became famous as the deadmans hand.

Sitting bull his real name is Tátȟáŋka Íyotake which translates to sitting bull or Bullflao whom sits down. He was very well known in the wildwest for his strong medicine and leadership also suprisingly his vision and not so suprisingly his courage. He was a lakota cheif (lakota is a indian tribe).He was the son of Returns-Again, a renowned Sioux warrior who named his son “Jumping Badger” at birth. Another fun fact that wa s kind of expected was that he was a very smart and stragetical leader. His very wise mind helped him be welly reconzied all over the world in those times and still even today. Sitting bull had five total wives which was very high back then to have in one lifetime.He was named "Sitting Bull" after striking an opposing warrior with a coup stick, and even toured with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. He was born in 1830 and died in 1890 he was 59 when the standing rock police men shot him in the chest and head trying to arrest him.

Deadwood South Dakota

This town was made from the 1876 gold rush it is also well known for it's wild west history with a lot of modern day casinos. James butler (wild bill hickok) died in deadwood from being shot while playing poker. He was gambling at casino ten when the fatal shot hit him and lead to his death. South Dakota was famously known for the wild west history in the state.Wyatt Earp and Morgan Earp visited Deadwood They both visited deadwood in 1876 in the fall. The killer of Bill Hickok was killed at 25 his name was Jack Mcall. He died less than a year after Wild bill Hickok. Deadwood was one of the most popular places even to this day in south dakota from it's crazy and death count in the place.

The weapon famously known as the rifle was the most common and frequently used weapon in the wild west and war even back then ,and still is used not so often but is still used to this day. This weapon got it's name from a old french word rifler which means scratch or groove. A bolt action rifle usually hold five shots. This weapon was used for raiding places like the indians territories ,and for wars ,and for food sources like bufflos. They would use the rifle for a lot of porpouses such as self defense ,hunting for food ,and for killing raiders or you would raid places for more items and to eliminate or to kill your competition.

Buffalo's

The species known as the Buffalo was very important for the wild west food source and millions were killed by the westerns. The reason that there were so many killed was because the Americans saw killing so many would help them eliminate the plain indians. So many buffalo's being killed almost caused the extinction of the beloved animal. The buffalo was one of the most needed items in the whole story for food and for warmth because of their thick fur coats. That the indians and natives would use for jackets. The buffalo has a lot of food and fat on the body making it one of the best food sources back then and even today.

Sitting bull had a very meaningful ,and a very useful quote. The warrior is not someone who fights, because no one has the right to take another life. The warrior, for us, is one who sacrifices himself for the good of others. His task is to take care of the elderly, the defenseless, those who can not provide for themselves, and above all, the children, the future of humanity.” This is one of the best and most intelgent things he has ever said. Sitting bulls last words were they will not take me Attack Attack. He was the wises person in the book he was also one of many extrodanary leaders his courage lead him and his people to many victories. He was shot twice and these two shots that fatally took his life started the wonded knee war.

This place known as Tombstone Arizona is known for being a key part of the wild west which involves mining ,and gunfighting. The buildings left in Tombstone are Paul's Episcopal Church, built in 1882 ,and also housing the worlds biggest rose tree. Another thing Tombstone is known for is the most popular saloons in the world. The reaason for the odd name for the town is because when Schieffelin struck silver, he named his mine Tombstone and for this mine is where this town got it's name. Tombstone had telephones in 1882 and two gas companies as well as three water companies and it's own baseball team.

Bill Hickok

Bill hickok's important quote was ''My eyes are getting real bad'' ''my shooting days are over.'' This was important because of his bad vision and quitting gun fighting he was killed when someone snuck up behind him and shot him in the head in deadwood AZ. Over his many years of gunfighting and the sheer amount of people he has killed over this time period he aquired a lot of enimies from this. People weren't to happy with him from his many years of gunfighting and when he got fired for shotting one of his crew members he was desprate for money and tried gambling for money.
