Common compulsions include excessive hand-washing, counting, checking, and ordering. <br><br>3. Avoidance: People with OCD may avoid certain situations or objects that trigger their obsessions or compulsions. <br><br>4. Intrusive Thoughts: People with OCD may experience intrusive thoughts that are difficult to control or ignore. These thoughts can be about anything, but are often related to the person’s obsessions. <br><br>5. Anxiety: People with OCD often experience high levels of anxiety, which can be debilitating and interfere with daily life. <br><br>6. Depression: People with OCD may also experience depression, which can be caused by the distress of living with the disorder. <br><br>If you or someone you know is experiencing any of these signs and symptoms, it is important to seek help from a mental health professional.
