She wanted to created something that helped women feel less alone in their dark times. Someone could find this inspiring by relating to the content that is being shown.

BLACK WOMEN & SELF CARE: THOUGHTS ON MENTAL HEALTH, OPPRESSION, AND HEALING is a zine that draws attention to the oppression and mental health aspect of black women, the zine was published by Naomi Moyer this likely creates a illustration/picture. Each word or picture in this zine contributes to the attention of black women’s mental health and the oppression behind it, Naomi described it as “There is a lot of shame dealing with mental health and to be vulnerable as a Black woman takes a bunch of courage” meaning that Black women are looked as or sterotyped to be strong or withhold everything that comes our way which is not true because everyone can not always be strong mentally and someone like me could relate to this zine as well because it paints a real life problem also I do not think this zine is still in commission.

Tiny Megaphone is a marketing and business zine ran by Joanna Rutter. Her main goal is to create opportunities for underdogs in the marketing and business world that may not receive opportunities that they are looking for. In her own words she wants to “rig the system” in the world of capitalism where social media and marketing feel impossible for “the little guys” as she quotes it. Tiny Megaphone also contains mostly writings and a few images here and there contained from magazines. Rutter says “If marketing is a megaphone, I’m handing it to the underdog to hear what they have to say”
