Programs through non-governmental organizations can be partially beneficially and mostly well-intentioned, but they are limited in regards to sustainability. Long-term practices for development, ultimately, rely on policy enacted by governments. Given that governments across the globe are riddled with corruption and greed, priority for sustainable development often gets tossed aside. 
2) I think a great first step to overcome this challenge within education systems, is to build relationship between NGOs and governmental organizations. I suggest that there should be courses about identities, responsibility, and morality from primary school to high school so that students can be aware of their identity in both the local society and the global society which might propel them to take more actions.

It’s easy to say if you work hard you’ll achieve what you want but that is not the case and it’s time for young students to b very aware of this.
