         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sears:<br>- Sears was caught violating child labor laws because people found that more than 200 Sears employees under 18 and were illegally operating power-driven paper balers, freight elevators and forklifts. Which are all machines that the Labor Department declared hazardous.<br>- They were fined $325,000.<br><br>Walmart:<br>- Walmart was caught violating child labor laws and were found out by department's Wage and Hour Division, that Walmart allowed teenage workers to operate hazardous equipment resulting in one teenager being injured while operating a chain saw.<br>- They were fined $135,540.<br><br>Target:<br>- Target was caught violating child labor laws and was fined for the retailer exposing young workers to hazardous machinery.<br>- They were fined $92,400.</div>]]></description>

FLSA stands for the Fair Labor Standards Act. The Fair Labor Standards Act is a law that gives rights to a minimum wage and "time-and-a-half" overtime pay where people work over forty hours a week. It prohibits minors from being employed to do dangerous activities.<br><br>Your company violated these terms and law by allowing more than 200 Sears employees under 18 illegally operate power-driven paper balers, freight elevators and forklifts. You were fined $325,000 years ago for it.<br><br>This violation is harmful towards children because it could result in a death, injuries, a made illness as an issue for poor safety, health standards, and working arrangements.
