Investments into small farms in rural areas to increase access to food and other resources ( United Nations , 2024). The government can allocate funds to varying regions to ensure all areas have equal access to food sources.

Individuals can utilize local food and agriculture, thus strengthening the food industry within their area. Food can be made readily available to populations by providing property allocated to food sources and growing .

Implement food systems and sustainable agricultural practices. The systems will enable maintenance of a stable ecosystem and proper allocation of resources (United Nations, 2024).

The prevention of trade restrictions within agricultural markets (United Nations, 2024). The lack of trade restrictions will allow for a more widespread distribution of agriculture between nations which can lead to a decrease in disparity.

The government can initiate data and assessment collections that monitor interventions. The monitoring will be able to track any success or downfalls that may need to be addressed in association with food equity and availability (Sporchia et al., 2024).

Emphasis can be placed on nutritional status in children, especially those in vulnerable locations, by providing access to healthy food options within school systems. The access to a variety of food options in the school setting can aid in addressing malnutrition amongst child population.

Governmental mandates can be enacted to manage food commodity markets in an effort to prevent inflation of food prices (United Nations, 2024). The monitoring of disparities among food prices can offer more access to impoverished countries and allow individuals access to resources that would have otherwise been unavailable.
