I think the Myrica Californica is Biotic. I know this is true because the plant obtains and uses its energy to make energy in a process called photosynthesis. Another reason that leads me to believe that the type of plant is Biotic is because it grows and develops according to a website the wax myrtle can and has reached up to record heights of reach 20-30ft tall. The last reason that lead me to believe the Myrica Californica is biotic is because it contains one or more living cells. I think that my plant
is multicellular because it contains multiple organs. In conclusion, I have found that the Wax myrtle scientifically known as the Myrica Californica is Biotic because it contains three of the characteristics of a living organism.
