However they restrict on freedom of expressions, associations, and assembly. Unfortunately South Korea are against the LGBT community, they're also against ethnic minorities. South Korean governments and other large corporations have many laws to limit the government and other corporations. The laws South Korea have is the National Security Law and Criminal Defamation Law. The law restricts the South Koreans for joining anything that has to do with politics. The Criminal Defamation Law will be a fine of 7 years in prison. Most of the polling places are held in a school, most voters can vote at any polling place there isn't a curtain place to vote. The vote card is a paper ballot and a rubber stamp that had red ink. The president will be elected for a five year term by vote. The National Assembly will have 300 members and will elect a four year term. Each party will represent the policies in the National Assembly and will be qualified on the legislature election. Since 2017 South Korea has two main parties which is a democratic and liberty party. In the Judicial system there is no juries in the system. All of the questions of law and facts will be decided by the judges. For civil rights it includes freedom of speech, religion, assembly, and the press. The two duties for the Republic of Korea is to pay taxes and the duty to enter the military. For the International Laws and Treaties they're the same as the domestic law. The constitution gives power to make the treaties to the president while the National Assembly consents treaties made by the president. For the Criminal Law they codified it in a penal code. North Korea's government type is a single party state and South Korea's type is a presidential republic. The capital in North Korea is Pyongyang and South Korea is Seoul. The legal system for North Korea was a civil law system the system was influenced by the Japanese traditions and the Communist legal theory. South Korea is a mixed legal system that combined the European civil law, the Anglo American law, and the Chinese. The age in North Korea to vote in the political election is 17 years old for universal and compulsory. For South Korea their age is 19 years of age only universal.
