         <description><![CDATA[<div>Corliss's Self Kindness Group is for students 9th grade through 12th grade in anger management classes.&nbsp; The curriculum is designed to teach students how to employ relaxation techniques and to change their reactions to feelings of anger. The group curriculum will also help students to make positive decisions and avoid conflict.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Flyers and posters will be post across the campus to bring light on my fantastic group.          <title>Screening Process </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Identified youth and their parents will be contacted to determine interest in participating in the group. The student will then complete a screening interview with the social worker to determine appropriateness for participation in the anger management group.&nbsp; The group screening process would also question students’ gender identity. If the staff numbers allow for it, students in our group will be screened and assigned to groups based on grade level and gender each anger management group would be separated by gender, students who participate in anger management groups have greater feelings of self consciousness in mixed-gender groups. Girls in mixed-gender anger management groups demonstrate a hesitancy to explore intimate feelings and thoughts underlying anger when the group is mixed gender. My students will be identified based on having more than one office discipline referral for verbal or physical aggression in the past year.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Stage 1- Getting to know everyone , I will have my students to participate in ice breakers, introduce themselves to help maintain trust, honestly and build relationships , go over the ground rules of the group and talk about the confidentially(what goes on in the group stays in the group).&nbsp;<br><br><br>Stage 2-&nbsp; My students will participate in group sessions to help each other understand their goal and analyze how thoughts and emotions affect decision making responsible behavior. Have them write self reflection on what trigger them and how to fix/change. I will observe their progress along the way to make sure if there any improvements.&nbsp;<br><br>Stage 3- Ending the group with a review on the topics we discussed, provide the students with resources such as videos to help maintain anger, activities/ exercises videos they can practice at home and website they can visit which can assist with enhancing their problems. I would like to also give out assessments to test to see what they learn in the class and how did it help assist with their anger.  <br><br></div>]]></description>
