I chose this project because it gave me the idea of how I could represent my culture with items I own with some kind of an interesting background. This image to me represents my Mexican culture through the skull with flowers necklace and the handmade earrings I purchased at an event for the day of the dead about a year or two ago. The wallet on the top left corner was handmade in Mexico and it is one of my favorite wallets that I have ever owned. The background is a drawing I did a while back but I found it to be hypnotizing and entrancing so I chose it to be my background to put everything together and help the colors stand out more. I feel like the colors and items in this image as well as the background all go together nicely.
