I have been in contact with an equine and canine massage therapist who also works for a feed company. If I carried out 3 WBL days with her doing the massage therapy would I be able to carry out a further 3 days with the same person but in a nutrition setting or would it have to be two different people?

On the PowerPoint 'Most asked questions VETS4058' on Moodle it says that shadowing a canine behaviourist is only allowed for 1 day maximum as part of our WBL. However, on the PowerPoint relating to our WBL that was used on the teaching weekend it had 'Behaviourist/trainer' as suitable for up to 3 days of canine experience. Please may we have some clarification whether shadowing a behaviourist is acceptable for the 3 days of canine experience (as part of the 6 total days) or whether only 1 day is allowed.

The 3 day limit is not a rule to max out. Seeing varied professionals is the best way to utilise the course and make you a better practitioner in the future. The gold standard would be 1 day with as many different professionals as you can !

In regards to the MS form we have to complete, it says we must fill it out within 7 days of our WBL. Does the use of "citations" mean only the in-text citations count towards the word count, or do both the in-text citations and the references list at the end of the document count towards the word count?

I have annotated a diagram, with text boxes adding additional information to the labelling. This takes up quite a bit of space, and in some cases its just basic additional anatomy info. Do I have to add a reference to each label, to show where it came from . In most instances, with just anatomy labelling, its all from the same source. Would it work to put the reference next to the title for the diagram / section (I have referenced the actual image appropriately).

I am a vet nurse and we have a visiting nurse who runs physiotherapy clinics one day a week. There is also a vet who carries out acupuncture. Would I be able to shadow these professionals as one of my dog days or is this not possible as they are in the same practice? I am usually part of the surgical team so not part of the consultation process for rehab. If so, should I complete a form after each consultation as this would probably occur over a couple of weeks.

Can we list the "Anatomy Resources Folder" as one reference for all images used from the folder, or do we need a separate reference with the title of each individual image? Given recent marking feedback students are concerned and would like confirmation of the following points for the clinical skills portfolio:

Should references be separated for each asset or combined at the end? We were told to separate them in the brief/formative and a prior padlet question, but given we were also told to do this in the electrotherapies formative and got marked down for it, many students are hesitant to separate them.
Will students who use APA-7 style citations be marked down for not italicising et al.? The official style guide for APA-7 suggests et al. should not be italicised as it appears in the UK English dictionary, but multiple students (including myself) have been marked down for this before and the handbook uses italicisation in the given example, so we want confirmation on this. https://apastyle.apa.org/style-grammar-guidelines/italics-quotations/italics and https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/et-al and https://www.oed.com/dictionary/et-al_phr?tl=true
Is the title page required? Previous Padlet responses, communications with lecturers, and the handbook all said it is optional, but many students were marked down for this in the electrotherapies essay so we want confirmation on if it is required for the Clinical Skills Portfolio.
Where and how should the word count be included and does it count towards the word count? I believe the brief/formative said it doesn’t count towards the word count, but the handbook says everything except references, title page, and appendices counts so we want to confirm we won’t be marked for including it.
