In 1960's pop music which started in 50's was exploded. It was exploded in not just America it exploded in Europe especially United Kingdoom Liverpool Beatles invaded the USA in 60's. Thanks to pop music which started in both USA and Europe it became popular overseas which is also called called Transatlantic. We have Michael Jackson in 60's ,who was one of the famous pop singers in world. Hippies also started singing in USA in 60's. They were singing in order to protest Vietnam War.

I would like to write about a podcast which was talking about the history of the music .

The speaker mentioned that he will talk about the history of Rock and pop . It is argued that pop is the shorter version of the word popular .

First of all , it is said that until 1950s rock n roll music was not existed . However , the music became for young people with a new style and it is called Rock n Roll . It was a black style of music . There were some popular names who were important for instance ; Chac Berry and Little Richard .

When this new kind of music existed , especially teenagers were imperressed . Due to being a new style teenagers louded it. Morover it was more interesting for them because of the electronic guitar .

It is mentioned that in 1960s the pop exploded. There were 2 groups which were more popular called Rolling Stares and the Beatles .

In addition to this , there were popular singers such as ; Dyna Rose and Micheal Jackson .

Morover , in that years music was not just for playing it , it was also a tool for making a protest . For instance young people used music to protest the Vietnam war .

I learned a brief history of pop and rock music. Popular music a.k.a pop has become a music style for young people in 50's. In 50's there were really good black blues and rock n roll singer at some point white singer started to copy them, Rock Around The Clock was one of these singers song. Most popular singer in that time was Elvin Presley who has rough and dangerous style, he was also playing electronic guitar which wasn't commen in 50's. Pop music exploded in 60's with thousands of new singers and bands such as The Beatles. With that pop music become trans Atlantic and reach overseas. Also another type of rock music named Hippie rock appeared due to the need for protesting the Vietnam war. In 70's singers began to be seen as world stars. ABBA one of the best instance for rich and famous pop stars, while new style called Punk Rock appeared against superstars. Punk Rock singers were taking risks, wearing different clothes, looked like poor and unhappy .Later in 80's there was a campaign for raising money in order to help starving people in Africa, with this campaign it seemed that singers and their audiences can be accomplish lots of things
