Aqueducts bring water from the mountains down to the city. The water from the aqueducts would supply the cities fountains, gardens,  public baths,  latrines, and houses of wealthy Romans.(Romae Vitam).         </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Roman Corinthian columns make beautiful and grand statements wherever they are found.</div><div>Besides the fact that these columns are decorated with two tiers of eight stylized acanthus leaves, this particular style of column is also recognized because it usually has a column shaft that is ten times the size of the bottom diameter. This shaft can be either plain or fluted. (Strongberg) The Roman's also used these columns to decorate the temples for the gods.</div>]]></description>
