Upon arrival at the scene, we found the patient, Luke Skywalker, in a state of distress, lying supine within a carbon freezing chamber. The right arm was traumatically amputated below the elbow prior to arrival by a lightsaber. It was cauterized. There was also bruising around his left eye. Patient was in severe 10/10 pain at the amputation site. He reported falling before being sucked into a vent system. Patient was alert, airway clear, and breathing was rapid and shallow. +2 pulses on all four extremities.

Interventions:

Placed a hard C-collar and took C-spine precautions due to indication of fall from an unknown height.

Cleaned and covered the right arm amputation site with a sterile dressing. did not apply pressure or tourniquet because of cauterization.

Initiated 18 G left AC IV for fluid resuscitation

Administered 1.5 mg Morphine IV to address severe pain
