- The “Rules of the game” slide: should be simple, the steps of the game should be addressed with bullets and numberings or SmartArt.

- Try to apply new fonts, instead of the three basic ones: Calibri, Times New Roman, and Arial.

- Set simple background to make sure the main features of the crossword are easily seen and standout. 

1. Cover slide: for showing the topic, other information (instructor, course, student)

2. “Rules of the game” slide: ensure the background and the texts are in harmony.

3. The crossword slide: the colors, the texts, fonts…should be simple and attractive, animations and triggers must be smooth.

4. Question slides: should be lively (with images or GIF, audios, videos), should include a timer to create a comparative atmosphere for the game, smooth animations when checking answers (what animations will appear if the answer is right? Or wrong?)
