I first heard this song at a Christian conference in Alabama Tennessee called Motion. This song filled the room with its joy and almost every person in the room knew it. With there being 12,000 people at the conference it was a beautiful thing to hear and one of my favorite experiences at a Christian conference. I still listen to it to this day and still remember the feeling of singing It with all the other people attending.

The memory behind this song is very special to be because of the person in it. My high school best friend was a very big part of my life. When we went off to college, I moved far and she moved semi-far. The distance between our schools are about 5 1/2 hours. We both got busy and do not talk anymore even though we spent every day of our 4 years of high school together. She played this song on the way to an ice-cream shop in the town over from us, and I fell in love with it. We would jam out in the car to it all the time, and now every time it plays I think of her.

Whenever I hear this song, I think about time week I had to stay with my cousin while her parents were out of town. They have a karaoke machine and we used it the whole time. We have very different music tastes, but this song was the only one I sang that she had heard of. She has autism and doesn’t have any friends other than me, and when I heard it I think of how she got to have that bit of fun with me before I left for school again and wait for me to come back at Christmas.

I also heard this song as the same Christian conference in Alabama called Motion. This song had just come out when I went and everyone was obsessed with it, even me. This is one of the more lengthy worship songs, (and worship songs can get very lengthy), but it is one of the best ones because so many people know it and sing it together, it is the sweetest feeling to listen and sing it, especially with all the people at the conference.

Although I don’t listen to this song much anymore, it holds a very special memory to me. My freshman year my cheer team went on their annual beach trip, I was very nervous to stay with the older girls I did not know well yet. My best friend’s cousin, Hannah, was the best girl on our team who went on to become a UTK cheerleader. Me, my best friend, and Hannah were sitting outside of Ron Johns and this song was playing outside the store. We started singing loudly and having fun, we didn’t care that everyone walking by was staring at us.
