So like the Man build the house to get people to have certain powers and maybe he has a power that allows him to give people powers. also, i think that maybe Rictus and Mrs. Griffin used to be kids in the holiday house too, but then the man gained them power when they saw that they were ready for the power, but it really depends with how long ago the house was built i think. And that might mean if Harvey is good enough to yield power from the man when he gets older, then he might be exactly like Rictus and Mrs. Griffin, and what they are doing. but i really don't know! One thing I noticed that supports what I think, is that when Harvey Wick asks Mrs. Griffin whether he gets to meet Mr. Hood, she is clearly discomforted by the question. I think that there are ranks of power, because since Rictus brings kids to the Holiday House, I think is brothers and sisters do too. I think that Mrs. Griffin has second highest power because she manages the power, and only someone who has more power than she does would probably make someone uncomfortable so I think Mr. Hood is at the top.
