This shows that american citizens wanted to take over other country's and thought they had a higher person in the government to do it. America basically went to other countries and had them do our dirty or hard work so that we didn't have too. Kipling viewed those being imperialized as slaves in a way. His description is correct because those being imperialized had to do dirty work from America. I agree with Kipling's views because he shows how the people being imperialized are being forced to do Americas hard work because is America is too lazy to do it themselves.
