Suds still does the stuff that fourth graders don't do. In the second chapter Suds runs into his third grade teacher and she asks him whats been happening. Suds tell's her that his teacher is okay and stuff isn't going very good. In the third chapter Joey is trying to get Suds's mind off of third grade. Suds liked being a third grade angel but he was not getting compliments when he was doing good things. In the fourth chapter Suds got home and his mom asked him if he had a bad day. Suds is thinking that Judy Billings was talking to her sandwich and not Suds. In the eleventh chapter Suds is starting to turn into a fourth grade rat. Suds sees Joey at school and Joey tells Suds that he was home sick. In the twelfth chapter Suds asked if he could go to Judy Billings house. She said yes and she would give him a Popsicle. In the thirteenth chapter Suds got home and his mom was waiting for him. They started talking about how Joey was home sick. In the fourteenth chapter Suds's dad is crying while watching a TV show.
