1. On the day of settlement an order on the agent will be sent to the Sales Agent from the solicitor.

2. Once the Order on the Agent is received, the keys can officially be released.

3. The agent will be in contact with the buyer and organise the collection of keys. The moving process can begin.

4. Ensure that when keys are collected, first, test out each on the house in case there are any missing keys.

1 week before the move              

- Pack a ‘’Moving day box’’ with towels, linen, snacks and clothes for the first night of your move. Anything you believe will save you rummaging through endless boxes, in search of what you are looking for

- Re-direct your mail

- Transfer your Bank mail to your new address, this is critical in case of fraud

- Collect all spare keys you have given to family and friends

- Cancel deliveries to your home eg. Monthly subscriptions, weekly fruit delivery

- Have your car checked if your traveling long distance

- Clean out the fridge 

1 Day out 

- Begin to start loading up the boxes

Day of the move

- Carry perishables in cooler bag

- Take all valuables eg. birth certificates private documentations with you

- Do a final walk through once the truck is loaded 

- Lock all doors and windows

- Collect all manuals eg, oven, security system, stove and place them in a loaction that can found by the new home owners e.g on the kitchen bench 

- Make sure keys are dropped into the agency for the new home owners to collect

After the move

- Be on hand to tell the removalists where to place furniture

- Have the ''essentials box'' on hand

- Unpack all necessary first e.g.. towels, medical, food

- Check all new keys and locks are working

- Contact council about garbage pickups

Q. What is the entry code for the common area front door and garage door? 

A: You will need to press the “key button” then enter the numbers 1231. The door should then say “the door is now open”. You will then be able to enter. 

Q. What keys open which door? 

A. Your front door has a key tag with your unit number. Once you use this key, it will drop a new lock that only allows for those keys to open your front door. No master key will be able to open the front door anymore. 

Red: This key opens the door to the fire stairs. 

Yellow: This key opens the lobby door into the basement (opposite the lift). 

Green: This door opens the bins room on the ground level basement. 

Swipe tag: This opens your front common door and garage door. 

Garage remote: If you have one car space, you are entitled to 1 (one) remote. If you have two car spaces, you are entitled to 2 (two) remotes.

Small keys with number tag: These will be your letterbox keys.
