         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this report, the colonies were classified into "White Colonies" and "Color Colonies". The former were formed by Canada, Australia, New Zeland and Southafrica. Those colonies were independent in their internal affairs. However, they could not take any decision about foreing matters. As regards, color colonies were constitued by the rest of English Empire that were located in Africa, Asia and the Caribean. Those colonies were dependent in their interal and foreing affairs due to the fact that they were considered unmature to rule themselves about domestic matters.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first Imperial Conference took place in 1907, in which was decided that Canada, Australia and New Zeland were now named under the term <strong>"</strong>Dominions". Three years later, Southafrica was considered as a new dominion. It denoted the idea that Great Britain had realized that its relationship with the colonies was becoming weaker.</div>]]></description>

However, they would have total independece in their internal and foreign matters.<br>In 1931, the British Parliament passed out the Statute of Westminster which removed the legal supremacy of the British Parliament in the dominions. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Following Years</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>After the Great Depression the dominions were called  "Members of the Commonwealth". They declared individually the war to Germany when WWII broke out. </li><li>However, color colonies went to war under the name of the British Empire.</li><li>By the accession of India, Pakistan and Ceylon (Sri Lanka) the Commonwealth became a multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-lingual Commonwealth in 1947.</li><li>Queen Elizabeth II is seen as the head of the Commonwealth. However, she has not power to take any decision.</li><li>Today, there are fifty three members of the Commonwealth. Each country has the same rights and all of them are seen as equals.</li></ul>]]></description>
