From what i had read, the army can also help the flood victim by establishing a tent camp that can give the victims basic shelter from sun and rain.

As for me, the other solution that the author's had given for flood victims as their shelter is causality tolls. Vernacular housing is not generally designed to respond to a disaster situation, unless that disaster is a relatively frequent occurrence. For this case, it might be effective emergency accommodation of a practical, usable base which can be utilized to protect the inhabitants and their property in support of their efforts to rebuild their dwelling and community.

Great Amin.Well guys from the video that i had watched the most capturing video for me is the video that making shipping containers as a one of the shelter for the flood victims.For me this way could be one of the effective ways that can be done in Malaysia although it has its own advantage and disadvantages by their owns.Well all of the things in this world have their pros n cons right?So lets me discuss about the advantages of the this way first,as ship container is really big so it can occupy many people at one time.As we know Malaysia always have problems in flood especially in Kelantan and Terengganu.We also can prevent any school to be given long holidays for the students as school will be used as shelter place.

From the videos, I think two of the most creative and interesting solution are making house from bamboo and giving the victims emergency shelter pack or shedpack.

Well basically, the solution is to make a shelter made from bamboo to substitute the victim's damaged house. I think this kind of solution is great because bamboos are economically stable, environmentally friendly and their cost are quite low. Besides,bamboos are quite easy to be found in Malaysia if we want to implement it in Malaysia. How about you Mini?

The basic idea of Shigeru Ban is by making paper house. The advantage for this solution are it is cheap and can form a strong buildings. It can be used in Malaysia as paper could be found easily. It can be rebuild easily after collapsed and recyclable. Unfortunately, the buildings only for short term and had to be replaced with permanent building. It also easily to collapse when there is strong wind.

However in my opinion, building a shelter made from bamboo maybe will take some time and it cannot be relocated. So I think the emergency shelter pack is a better solution to help a flood victims because the shedpack contain all the things that the victims need like a single person micro shelter and is great for aid distribution. Besides its floatable design, easy to be fold and can be recollected at the end of usage are also a great design of the emergency shelter pack as it can give advantages especially to fisherman

The disadvantages of the shipping container were it need a really large empty place to keep the shipping container and i guess Malaysia are having some difficulties in that guys.Sorry i forgot to disccuss about the disadvantages just now so here come i guys.Siti how about the another video dear?

That's okay Mini. Now, I wanna share with you guys about the second videos that caught my attention which is Shelter box. Good things about shelter box is it providing everything that flood victims needs such as blanket, tent and more. But, it rely on donation and volunteer and it also does not provide foods. It might possibly work if Malaysia Government and the public give funding to this shelter box. Yep, That's all I guessed.

Now here comes the pallet house as shelter for flood victims.Pallet house also has their own advantages and disadvantages too.One of the basic advantage is its low cost and family can build their own house based on their size of family and needs.But there is the disadvantages that this method couldnt be done in Malaysia as it oly can be temporary housing and only can done based on the needs.
