The program is divided into 11 batches, with payments already made for batches one to four. Batches five to nine are scheduled, and  as of batches 10 and 11. The program had spent around P80 million from its budget of P169,944,000, which cames from the Local Government Support Fund. It aims to assist up to 42,900 beneficiaries, providing each with P396 per day for 10 days of work. Work for Davao is an emergency cash-for-work initiative by the city government to help people who lost their jobs due to COVID-19. Participants engage in activities like clean-up drives, dengue awareness campaigns, school maintenance (Brigada Eskwela), and disinfection, supervised by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and local barangays. The program continued until December, offering income opportunities to those affected by the pandemic in Davao City.
