born first of the orghana twins, henrik was already found to be more serene than the other, one who fell asleep so easily into the night, only ever crying when he's not fed on time or when there were no songs lulling him to sleep. as frigid as the temperatures in aersahir, the aerajah did not spare him and his brother a glance, merely seeing them as his successors. ultimately, only their eligibility to the throne would garner them the 'love' he could afford to give.

1478, day of the echoes

they were eight (8) when the first whispers of their aether began to weave through their veins. henrik recalled describing it as a searing sensation, but one that did not seem to hurt - only to numb. still, his magick did not manifest grandly, a mere whisper in contrast to that of his twin's. thus, in a corner of a room, henrik played around with small wisps and fleeting breezes while their father began to steer his attention towards his twin with a proud gaze.

1479-1488, academy years

though favored by most mentors due to him being the first royal son, it was still evident that his younger brother got most of the attention. as his brother's magick grew with bravado day by day, henrik's presence could only blend amongst the other nobles whose distinction solely relied on their wealth. still, it did not hinder him from excelling academically, his grades never falling subpar than what was expected of him.

1487, his first heartbreak

henrik knew of what was coming but did not expect to grieve deeply. the moment his sister turned 21, his dreams of growing old with her vanished as quickly as her smile did. there was no room for celebration, only quiet acceptance as he watched her be taken with her hands bound and her feet bare, a preparation to partake in the storm's lament. little did he know that the image of her retreating back shall be the last thing she'd ever leave him with.

1491, the skyrise trial

though still plagued by his sister's disappearance and the diminishing bond between he and his siblings, henrik's ascent atop mount harzal was bearable. still, he desired not to finish the trial, deeming his brother more fitting to lead aersahir - but he could hear passing whispers in the wind, phantom voices telling him that the trip back to the capital would be steep and more dangerous. before he had realized it, winged goliaths have already began surrounding him as he began to read an ode, and by the time he was done, lightning had struck him in an instant. his survival only meant one thing: he was the official crown prince.

1492 - 1500, recent years

after his coronation, henrik grew more distant from his family and friends, quietly sparing them from the turmoil brought by his title. in those years, he had fully integrated himself into the role of the crown prince, posing as the extension of the monarchy's "goodwill" towards the people. he became the emissary of peace for his ideals, had traveled across borders to learn of the cultural standards of other nations. he had given no room to failure, no space for any ill speculation, fearing the man he shall be once he, himself, shall be unraveled.
