Me and a couple of my fellow film makers are not going to tell you about out associations with Communists. Instead, we are going to denounce the HUAC because it is a major violation against the civil rights.

Due to the Hollywood 10 not working with us, we will have to write a citation for them to go to prison for 6 months and up to a year. You will be cited for contempt of Congress. You will need to complete the charges under your name as well.

Hey everyone, I'm just reaching out and checking on what everyone is up to. Before I refused to testify to the HUAC I said, “I will never aid or abet such a committee in its patent attempt to foster the sort of intimidation and terror that is the inevitable precursor of a fascist regime". After the Civil War, I continued to write screenplays and made one called, Hotel Berlin.

Hey Alvah and the rest of the Hollywood 10! It's great to be able to chat again. I was writing the screenplays for many movies including, the film The Master Race. When I chose to testify, my wife also joined me and pleaded the 5th amendment.

Before I served my sentence in prison I was writing screenplays including the movie The Women Of the Year. Since I have gotten out of prison, I have been writing for many other TV shows. I have been very successful and have been receiving many achievements for my work.

Before being blacklisted, I was writing screenplays like The House of the Seven Gables and Objective, Burma! Since I have been blacklisted I haven't been as succesful as Ring Lardner has been. I have been struggling to find ways to write screenplays, so I have just been teaching a screenplay writing class.

Before my sentence, I was writing films like Crossfire. It has been a couple of years now since our sentences ended. After I got out of Prison I flew to Great Britain and when I returned I was sent back to Prison again. I was then released early because I was honest about being a part of a Communist party.

Before getting sentenced, I was working for the Screen Writers Guild and became its first president. I also was nominated for an Academy Award for a story I wrote which was Blockade. Recently I have been continuing to write films and I created Beloved Country, but was not given credit.

Its sad to have to say this but one of the members of the Hollywood 10, Samuel Ornitz had passed away. He passed away while all of us were in Prison and he was writing screenplays while he was in prison.

Before my sentence I was writing many screenplays. Just recently, I sued RKO pictures for wrongful dismissal. I found some uncredited work and I have been writing screenplays with my wife.
