Roman law forms the basic framework for <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_law_(legal_system)">Civil law</a>, the most used legal system today. The historical importance of Roman law is reflected by the continued use of <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_legal_Latin_terms">Latin legal terminology</a> in many legal systems influenced by it, including <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_law">Common law</a>.</div>]]></description>
