Today is a core memory day! 🟢🟡🔴🟠

This activity is a terrific rollercoaster for us. The pressure of being in group one, as well as the pressure of performing well in this activity, drew us into something unthinkable yet ultimately made us feel proud and pleased. As a group one, we have to give our best and make our lesson both enjoyable and educational. The restless night and the burden of preparation paid off when we saw the smiles on our classmates' faces, and our professor's positive feedback pushed us to perform well in other activities.

🧶Unity Yarn

This activity promotes teamwork and build trust to each other. It showcase the benefits of communication, wherein for you to communicate effectively, a communicator must begin with understanding what communication is and how it works. As it goes along the way to keep you accompanied by anyone and build better friendship.

🥤Cupstacle Course

The game highlights the importance of clear and honest communication by requiring players to guide blindfolded teammates through verbal directions, emphasizing trust, patience, and listening. It demonstrates how effective communication helps teams work together, solve problems, and achieve goals.

😝Dila Dilemma

The game showcases key communication concepts by challenging players to share information under difficult conditions, emphasizing adaptability, clear messaging, and active listening. It highlights the importance of patience, teamwork, and creativity in overcoming communication barriers and achieving shared goals.

“I can do all things through him who gives me strength.” - Philippians 4:13. This verse is what I was holding when we started presenting for our output-based activity. All the nervousness and pressure was on me because it was a different feeling to present in front of my classmates as a second group presenter. I over thought that time on how I could sustain the good flow of the presentation started by the previous group. However, I just put all my worries into prayer because I know that He is stronger than anything else, even my nervousness. 

To experience OBA was an opportunity for me because I’ve learned so much in this activity. All the hard work, efforts, and sleepless nights we gave just to see a successful presentation, I can say that it was all worth it. We executed three games—Draw the Image, Charades, and Gimme 5—to be exact, and I was so grateful to have an active participation from our classmates. Aside from that, my favorite part is Sir Jeffrey's message to our presentation. He congratulated us for doing a great job, and I felt so relieved hearing that from him. I will be forever grateful to have experienced a moment like this; it was such a great memory I had.  - Anasari

During this time, we were nervous on how we will be maintaining the momentum of the class, doubts occurred on how we will be able to do this major activity. But this class helped us to do this right, we have established an active participation and a class who helps each other to overcome difficult tasks.  - Ashley

For group 3's OBA, we conducted a human sized monopoly game! It was exciting to see our classmates engage and apply their knowledge in terms of economic and globalization around the little board (tiles) challenges. The activity would not end without snack as prizes!

🌻Last is your phrase Sir that always stuck up to my mind is that "We are all learning here", means all of us are still in the process of learning, it means a lot for me who still broadening my knowledge and kinda make mistake. Thankyou Sir as I will keep this phrase throughout my journey. Thankyou also for my thoughtful members as we help each other in executing this one of a kind presentation. 💌

— Definitely one of the things that I will miss in this course. We conducted our OBA online, we’re kind of upset since we couldn’t execute it personally. Yet, we still managed to perform it well even though it was conducted online. We still managed to perform the games properly and excitingly! However, our OBA just emphasizes the importance of having academic writing and why is it necessary to workout for students like us.

In this day, we housed the celebration of Sir Jeff's Birthday! Along with it is the culmination of everyone's hard work — time, effort and preparations leading up to this special day. It was a remarkable experience to see the smiles and laughter in our faces as we execute the games. Everyone participated and was creative in expressing their ideas through action and flags! We could safely say that the spirit of friendly competition was alive. Fun and learning shared the same space and spotlight that day just like any other OBA day as we also learned a lot from the wonderful insights of our beloved teacher. The results and the collective effort of participation of each and everyone served as a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with passion and dedication. We, as a group, hopes that the memories created that day, along with the lessons learned lingers with us!

The open forum with Sir Jeff has definitely brought the class closer with him. It is safe to say that we (HRM 1-1) consider him as our adviser. He thought us nothing but the best especially with our morals. We will forever carry the words 'honor must always come first before excellence.'

alam niyo 'yung pakiramdam na kahit nakakapagod mag asikaso at gugustuhin mo nalang humiga at matulog, babangon ka pa rin para buksan ang laptop mo at makipagdaldalan sakanila (ang meeting na napupunta sa chikahan HAHAHAHA) jokes aside, I am really thankful to have them as my groupmates. hindi ko naramdaman 'yung pagod sa pag aasikaso kasi lagi ako tumatawa kapag kasama sila. they're really the best group and circle of friend that I wish when I was on my first day in college.
