First, you will need a large beaker filled to it's peak with water, a small test tube inside, a hose, buntsen-burner, hand held device with thermometer, and ring stand. In order to set up the lab, you will need to place the buntsen burner under the ring stand with a large test tube in place at the top of the ring stand. Then make sure you have your hand held plugged into your thermometer. Take the hose and place the black headed part inside the large test tube, with the thermometer inside as well. Place your filled beaker to the side with the small test tube inside and have the hose inside the small tube. Then start your experiment.
