As teachers and individuals we have our own feelings and attitudes  that can help us be sympathetic and understanding towards challenging students.
Students with resentful, angry, defensive or offensive students are always a challenge due to disruptions, low academic achievement and reckless and manipulative behaviors that are often interrupters for student success.
It is often a superficial view that we have about students with tough personalities since building a relationship takes longer and sometimes grand efforts for the teachers to reach. 
In any case, it is always worth it to build this relationships and accommodate to students needs, since this will determine the outcome and level of success.

Personal Curriculum is my personal favorite since this is a best practice. This strategy serves students of all levels and tailors for specific needs.
Type 2:
Domain Specific training is a strategy that helps with student success and classroom management.
Type 3 :
Making civil and safe learning environment is always beneficial for all types of students
Type 4:
Promoting and encouraging resilience is always needed by the students since a lot of the times it is difficult to switch mindsets to promote growth.
Type 5:
Providing accommodations and differentiating instruction should be a best practice in every class.
Type 6
