         <title>Henry Bessemer</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Henry Bessemer was born on January 19, 1813, in Charlton Hertfordshire, England. Bessemer was a known inventor and engineer. Bessemer developed many inventions but one of his most famous was the first process for manufacturing steel quicker and cheaper. In 1856 Bessemer developed an invention for steel in Sheffield.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Cornelius Vanderbilt was born in Staten Island, New York, on May 27, 1794. Since a young boy, Cornelius worked with his father who operated a boat that ferried cargo. Vanderbilt began a passenger ferry boat in New York harbor. He then started his own steamship company and eventually became one of the country's largest steamship operators.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Robert Fulton was born on November 14, 1765, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Fulton was sent to a Quaker school at a young age. He then became an apprentice in a Philadelphia jewelry shop. Robert Fulton later then became one of America's most known inventor. Fulton brought the steamboat from experimental stage to success. As an apprentice he gained knowledge of cotton manufacturing. Slater then immigrated to the United States in 1789.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Rockefeller was born in Richford, New York, on July 8, 1839. John D. Rockefeller set upon on a number of small business ventures as a teenager. By the age of 20, Rockefeller steered out on his own with a business partner. It wasn't soon that Rockefeller turned to the oil business. In 1863, Rockefeller opened up his first refinery in Cleveland.
