Through laboratory procedures in my Organic Chemistry class, I was able to actively learn. It was done poorly because of lack of direction from the TA. I also saw active learning as a backpacking guide. Through interacting with nature, students and clients learned more about the world around them in an effective way.

I see a lot of this on online classes. Reading and discussion of the topic and reflection of what was just went over is common in online classes. I have seen it done well like in my English class this summer where we wrote essays about the book we read and discussed it as a group. I have also seen in done well in my history classes going over old supreme court cases.

Goal oriented leaning has been revenant in my online classes this summer. With the planning of the semester through the online courses with due dates, it makes the goals much more obvious. Same goes for the syllabus posted online.

Using technology makes cooperative learning much easier during a pandemic like this one. I was able to collaborate on a group project this spring that wouldn't have been possible without online learning. I had great experiences with both projects I worked on, with emails and open communication being the key to success.
