In this section, I show my presentation in which I discussed a language skill as well as provided some important information, strategies, and resources for teaching that skill.

The presentation has a structure which first includes an introduction to the skill, with a discussion of its importance in the learning process, the steps to making that skill available for the student, suggestions on how to teach that skill, and some teaching resources that were useful.

Attached below are the main ideas that I presented, along with practical examples and activities you can practice in the classroom so you can improve your teaching practice, and help your students improve their learning of that skill.

In this section of the repository, we will share the entire teaching unit we created for phase 3. The unit consists of multiple learning targets and activities presented over several sessions and focuses on teaching students to talk about body parts, and living a healthy body through whole language in English.

The teaching unit "My Body Is My Temple" that consists of objectives, content, activities, resources and assessments we have planned to promote holistic learning. Throughout the planning we have attempted to design a cohesive, dynamic and student-centered learning activity.

I am showcasing the research and design procedures of a learning activity that utilizes an artificial intelligence (AI) tool to incorporate new technology into English teaching and learning. This activity aims to develop interaction, expression, and understanding in English learning utilizing the opportunities afforded by technology and relevant education innovations.

You will find a fully developed activity using the AI product Kahoot. The activity has clear learning intentions, step by step instructions, applied practices, and a feedback plan. The activity will allow students to practice and consolidate specific language skills and take advantage of the features and benefits of the chosen AI tool.

THE REFLECTION ON THE ROLE OF TEACHERS

In this activity, we have read and reflected on the article "Redefining the Role of Teacher in Education through Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)" by Haci Hasan Yolcu. Drawing from its main ideas, we have created a reflection in which we consider how artificial intelligence could shift the teacher's role, and what aspects of teaching will remain human. Our overall aim was to recognize the importance of balancing technology with the teacher's work, so that students receive a more holistic and inclusive education.
