Even though she loses her best friend Ashley because of Paris's skin color she ends up getting a call she could never dream of. One day Brett ended up meeting with Shayla and asks her about her life and she tells him that she has a disorder call Xeroderma Pigmentosum which means making her DNA to not repair making them very allergic to the sunlight and there's Brett who is also diagnosed with cancer. Then soon Shayla and Brett ended up dating and Shayla ended up in an accident while the sun is up. Will she make it through?
