A priest's duties is to spread and preach the word of God and to live a faithful life. I believe that the priests did their duties because when people were struggling and dying, even though they were hurt too they worried about the other people. They also helped people rebuild and rebuilt their churches.

They had to watch people die and burn to death. Some people had to hold each other while they died. They had to watch their city burn to the ground and be demolished. There was also a survivor's guilt, like why did I make it and not them?

Some people had radiation poisoning or sickness that affected them for years later. It caused some people to be sterile and unable to have kids.

I believe that some people must've regretted the war. The people suffered and a bunch of people died for basically nothing. They lost supplies, land, and power, and got their cities destroyed.

I do not believe that people regretted their allegiance because of their pride. The Japanese people were willing to lay down to the last person for their emperor, they had a lot of pride in their country.

I believe that war is justifiable because you can't say that the consequences of no war would be worse. If we did not stop Hitler or the expansion of the Japanese, no one knows where the world would be

I agree with this statement because I think people pay too much attention to how the bomb could be used and modernized instead of looking at how many people got killed and the destruction of the bomb.

The Japanese were not going to give up. Yes, it was a tragedy but something had to happen. But I do not believe that it was a war crime at the time. It was known for ending the war and did not break any treaties that the United States had at that time. It was devastation needed by military justification. It also did not destroy the land. Both cities affected by the bombing are thriving cities with normal amounts of radiation.

I believe that the Japanese people are strong-willed, religious, helpful

I think that this fits what most people think of those people at that time period. Just from their fighting strategies, America could see that the Japanese were very religious and strong-willed just based off the fact that they were willing to kill themselves instead of turn themselves in or surreneder.

Both of the attacks came without warning.

Both caused a major aftermath, with America getting involved, and Japan surrendering, America jumping into the Middle East.

They were attacks on innocent people not just the people involved in the war.

I suppose it showed me how bad that the bomb really affected people. Like you can hear all the stats and everything a thousand times but hearing the real-life stories helped paint the picture of devestation.

I think people could try to agree on things but it doesn't always work. Like we tried saying that Germany was not allowed to invade Poland but they did it anyway.
