Elkmans Theory-Facial muscles used to indicate emotion and are universal

Duchene Smile-genuine smile, key indicator is eyes

Yerkes Dodson Theory-Optimum stress necessary for optimum performance , too much and too little and are both bad for performance 

Learned Motives-things taught by others, social motives, modeling and observation, aggression or achievement 
Stimulus Motives- unlearned motives that encourage exploration of world, pondering and activities
