A mentor is a person that guides another (a mentee) to reach their goals by questioning them and giving insightful thoughts to assist the mentee so he or she can reach their goal. 

 

2. What would your personal benefits be, from being a mentee? 

Being the better version of myself and getting enlightenment from the mentor. 

Timeline:

2023 – Graduate University 

Mentor can guide me where is my ideal choice to continue my masters or what I should do to experience more for my future portfolio

2026 – Set up own business and family

Mentor can help assess and advice when is the best time to set up my family life and set up the business so that it will be most productive for my life

2028 – Grow the business 

Mentor can assist assessing my choices on what fields or what industry I should expand to, or guide me to develop my understanding of the risks involved. 

2031 – Become an internationally recognized business

Assist in expanding internationally by advising what programs or what regulations I should implement to be recognized internationally 

If we look back hundreds of years ago or even ten years ago, the basic understanding of luxury and what define luxury would be having the best out of something, and I believe this understanding too, applies to the today’s world. Before, for example, in china having nice clothes to wear made from silk was considered luxurious because of how hard it was to make it and it was communicated by people to people. Nowadays, silk is more well known for sure, and with the use of digital devices, and technology it became of less value because it is not made my hand anymore but to some it is still considered a luxury due to different levels of income and exposure they have to the product.

There was a scenario where my mom’s friend’s money was pick pocketed in a shopping mall without her knowing thus, I remembered that to be more alert and aware
