Three episodes that occur while having Bipolar disorder are Mania, Hypomania, and Depression<br><br>Bipolar I- </strong>involves periods of severe mood episodes from mania to depression.<br><br><strong>Bipolar II</strong>- a milder form of mood elevation, involving milder episodes of hypomania to periods of severe depression.<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Prevalence and Diagnosis of Bipolar Disorder:</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Bipolar disorder affects more than <strong>5.7 million</strong> adults (about 3 percent of the population) in the U.S each year. </li><li>The typical age of onset is the late teens or early 20s, although it can come in childhood or as late as 40's and 50's.</li></ul><div>Diagnosis: </div><ul><li>Men and Women are equally affected. </li><li>Bipolar disorder affects people of all races, ethnic groups and socio-economic backgrounds.</li><li>Bipolar Disorder is commonly under diagnosed because people with mildest form of it, are more likely treated for other health conditions such as depression or substance abuse. <br><br></li></ul>]]></description>
