In my opinion, the two most important events during World War II were the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and Pearl Harbor. The attack on Pearl Harbor led the United States to enter the war, which had a huge effect on who won. It is possible that Germany could have won if the US had not joined. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki led to the end of the war and the creation of many nuclear weapons. While it killed many innocent people, millions more would have died if not for these two nuclear bombings. It also showed the world how powerful nuclear weapons are, and made warfare much more dangerous because if everyone set their nukes off, it could lead to mutually assured destruction.
