[Joan Rivers talks to the camera with loudspeaker in hand]

Joan: Everyone who’s anyone has turned out to honor Princess Fiona and Prince Shrek and, oh my, the outfits look gorgeous! Look! Hansel and Gretel!

[Hansel and Gretel skip down the carpet hand in hand, tossing bread crumbs along their path]

Joan: What the heck are the crumbs for? And right behind them, Tom Thumb and Thumbelina! Oh, aren’t they adorable!

[The tiny Tom Thumb and Thumbelina are mistakenly swept up by a man sweeping the crumbs]

Joan: Here comes Sleeping Beauty!

[The carriage door is opened and Sleeping Beauty falls onto the carpet, still sleeping]

Joan: Oh, tired old thing...who’s this? Who’s this?! Who is this?

[Fairy Godmother's pink carriage descends]

Joan: Oh. It’s the one, it’s the only…it’s the Fairy Godmother!

[Fairy Godmother hovers her way across the red carpet]

Fairy Godmother: Hello, Far Far Away! Can I get a "whoop-whoop"?

[The crowd whoops]

INT. - THE SWAMP. SHREK'S HOME.

[Pinocchio, Gingy, Big Bad Wolf, the Three Little Pigs, and the Three Blind Mice are using the Magic Mirror as a TV. They are watching footage of the event as it cuts to a commercial break]

Magic Mirror: We’ll be right back with the Royal Far Far Away Ball after these messages.

Gingy: I hate these ball shows! They bore me to tears. Flip over to Wheel Of Torture.

Pinocchio: I’m not flipping anywhere, sir, until I see Shrek and Fiona.

Gingy: Whizzes on you guys! Hey, mice, pass me a buffalo wing.

[The mice start moving their canes around, unaware that the plate of chicken wings is right next to them]

Gingy: No no, to your left. Your left!

[A chicken wing flies up and lands inside the rancid fish bowl]

Gingy: Ah! Now here’s a good show!

[Footage plays of Shrek, Donkey, and Puss in Boots being chased by several patrols of knights]

Knight: We got a white bronco heading east into the forest. Requesting backup.

[The chase ends in the streets of Far Far Away. Two knights seize Shrek and three more point their crossbows at him]
