I was a former middle school teacher at in Virginia. Although I miss my Virginia family and friends, I have always been told I was a displaced peach. Happy to be a Southern gal.

I teach chemistry and honors chemistry at NPHS. Previous to teaching, I actually worked in labs for several years in the Kennesaw area. With my previous science field experience, I love show students how the curriculum and technology is relevant to their lives.

I teach Mathematics. Each year is a bit different as I'm one of the ESEP mathematics teachers. This year I'm teaching Algebra Foundations and Algebra 2. I love to make videos and have a flipped classroom when ever possible. I tell the students that they can make me repeat myself over and over again with out the "Ugly Teacher Look" ;-) . I style myself as the "Crazy Cat Lady of Hiram High School". And for those who want to know, I have 5 cats, 2 dogs and a really angry bird.

Hi! I teach World Literature at Hiram High! I also coach Model United Nations and serve as the sponsor for the Hornet Creative Writing Club. When I am not in teacher mode, I write, read everything I can, and am a big nerd! (See pic from Dragon Con below. Husband is Uncle Fester. I'm Dustin from Stranger Things.)

I have two dogs, Libby and Idgie, and a kitten, Eleanor as well as an awesome husband. I love embedding tech into education so much that I have a specialist in it!
