I also, have studied sociology in Thessaloniki, Aristotle University and Ihave a postgraduate diploma in history of Greece.I spend my free time travelling and getting to know different cultures and traditions. Of course, school partnerships are an important interest of mine too.

Although my school is in a very small village, my

students are full of energy and curiosity. They love learning new things, playing in nature, doing sports and drawing. They are very excited to meet new friends from other countries and to take part in this wonderful European project through eTwinning.

Chalkida is also known for its friendly people and warm hospitality, making visitors feel at home. Its location allows easy access to stunning beaches, traditional villages and the natural beauty of central Evia, offering both educational and recreational experiences for visitors.

I am actively involved in European educational programs such as eTwinning and Erasmus+. I love designing innovative activities that combine digital tools, collaboration and intercultural understanding. Through these projects, I aim to help students develop important 21st-century skills such as creativity, communication, empathy and active citizenship.

I also enjoy music and traveling, as they inspire me to explore new cultures and ideas, which I often bring back to my classroom to enrich my teaching practice.

Being part of the eTwinning community gives me the opportunity to exchange good practices, connect with colleagues from different countries and offer my students meaningful learning experiences with a European perspective.

My name is Rocío and I am from Asturias, north of Spain. I have been teaching in Primary Education for about twenty-five years. I am really happy to be part of this project!

I am very interested in using digital tools and international projects in my teaching. Through eTwinning projects, I aim to help my students improve their language skills, develop digital competences, and learn about different cultures. I believe that cooperation and communication are the key to successful learning.

This is my second eTwinning project, and both my students and I are very excited to be part of “Different Steps on the Same Path.” We believe that every child is unique, and through this project, our students learn the importance of empathy, tolerance, cooperation, and friendship. Working together with students and teachers from different countries helps our children discover new cultures, improve their communication skills, and understand that diversity is a richness.

My journey to becoming a teacher started in an unexpected way. While I was studying architecture at university, I was also working as an English tutor for my neighbor’s child. After some time, I realized that those lessons were the happiest and most meaningful moments of my week. That experience helped me discover my passion for teaching.

English has always been an important part of my life. Since my childhood, learning English was more than a school subject for me; it was a hobby and a passion. During high school, I studied at YDS Academy, where I improved my language skills and strengthened my dream of becoming an English teacher.

Today, I feel very happy and proud to guide my students on their learning journey. Together, we love creating, exploring, learning, and sharing through eTwinning projects. We are head over heels for this project and ready to make wonderful memories together!
