         <description><![CDATA[<div>I'm unsure on many of these softwares. Although, I believe they would give an accurate percentage of at least 90%. Or why would construction companies be adopting these new ideas and technology? So yes I believe they would provide efficient enough measurements and number to allow a QS to provide an accurate measure. Although, this is where I believe an experienced QS would become useful to cast their eye over complex and difficult jobs to help scan for odd or difficult measurements that a computer or technology can't. <br>(Hayden).</div>]]></description>

Measurement software is designed to make measurement easier and work faster for quantitative surveyors. Based on my own experience, I agree this opinion more. Just like using a calculator, it's not that human calculations are not as accurate as calculators at all, but that calculators are not that easy to make mistakes. Some of the more-advanced features of CostX are the auto-revision and bill production functions. These tools reduce the time taken to carry out the repetitive processes of identifying variations between drawing issues and the production of Bills of Quantities. Thus, freeing up more time for the surveyor to carry out value-adding activities.<br>Although no tool is a complete replacement for the professional using it, measurement software such as CostX has quickly become a vital component for the modern Quantity Surveyor.
