         <title>Young-Helmholtz trichromatic Theory</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This theory says that the retina contains three different color receptors- one most sensitive to red, one to green, one to blue- which, when stimulated in combination can produce the perception of any color. <br>You could get a random sample of people to test the theory. You could use objects of the colors that the theory focuses on to see the people's perception outcomes. If you ask what people see and take up what they say then you could take that information to account if the theory is accurate or not. <br>A strength could be that previous evidence comes from color matching and color mixing studies. It focuses on three colors which is the amount of colors needed to test if someone is color blind. The wavelengths and such are mentioned which also can back up information. <br>A weakness could be that the colors chosen could be hard to test and that no one can see color from someone else's eyes which could be challenging to know if someone being tested is giving accurate, helpful information.  </div>]]></description>

         <title>Opponent Process Theory </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It's a theory that opposing retinal processes enable  color vision. The three sets of opponent processes are red-green, blue-yellow, and white-black. <br><br>This theory explains the perceptual phenomena of negative after images. A test to show this is: take a small square piece of white paper and place it at the center of a larger red square, then stare at the center of the white square for thirty seconds. When you blink an afterimage will appear. <br><br>A strength is that it help shows after images and give evidence. <br><br>A weakness is that it enables some color so your blind to others <br><br><br></div>]]></description>
