I would give this book a 8/10 or even maybe a 9! It started off slow at first and sometimes throughout the middle I feel that the author would begin an idea and not finish it. Kind of side tracking from the storyline, however I loved the ending and the suspense. This was truly a thriller and I absolutely loved how it included the perspective of multiple characters in the book. It really tied up together at the end and I would definitely recommend this book to others.

This book was not amazing, but not bad either, which is why I give it an 8/10. The beginning of the story was pretty slow and there was a lot of unnecessary detail being given, so it was hard for me to really get into the story. Reading the book with book club was good though because it helped me to continue reading. In the end, I actually really enjoyed this book. I was strongly convinced that multiple different people could've been the killer, I was fearing the characters because of how psychotic they were, and I was really invested in the story. Because of all of that, I would say both the writing and the plot are pretty good. However, I simply cannot rate this book a 9/10 or 10/10 because I feel like this is not quite on the level of books like the Silent Patient or the Maidens, both of which are thrillers that are well deserving of 10/10 ratings.
